Justin Rose Triumphs at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am After 4-Year Winless Drought

Oh, how sweet it is! Justin Rose ended his four-year winless drought on a weather delayed Monday to take home the win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Rose has not won on the tour since 2019 when he took first at the 2019 Farmers Insurance Open.

Thanks to a weather suspension on Saturday, due to high winds, the tournament took an extra day to complete.

Golf can be a mysterious and sometimes baffling experience that can put even the best players in the world in a precarious position in their professional life and Rose is no exception. Rose stated that the grind is real and that the weight has finally been lifted. Moving on, the focus is to build on the solid play.

With the win, Rose gets a last-minute invite to the Masters.

When play resumed, Rose got things going with birdies on the 11th, 13th, and 14th holes that increased his lead to three strokes. With the final holes remaining, Rose took a conservative approach had three consecutive pars into the house to cruise in for his victory.

With the win, there was a lot of talk about his change in equipment. With Bryson’s contract with Cobra ending this last year, the door was certainly open for someone like Rose to fill the spot.

After playing several different sets over the last few years, Rose went back to the clubs he played when he was a teenager and ended up playing them in for the championship and his 11th PGA Tour Victory.
